1. Baking soda
Baking soda is an excellent moisture absorber, it just needs to be dissolved in a glass of water and sprayed on the affected area around the bidet and toilet. Then scrub with a toothbrush to remove it and then rinse (an old toothbrush will do the trick).
2. Vinegar
Unlike baking soda, it is best to apply it directly without diluting it so that it does not lose its acid concentration. Leave it on the affected area for a while, then rub vigorously and then rinse. This remedy will give your bathroom a spectacular shine.
3. Boric acid
You may also know it as borax . The appropriate dose to exert its effect is one glass of borax for every liter of water. Apply, let it act and rinse well with water. Obviously , ventilate the bathroom if you are going to use this method to eliminate mold and do not leave it within the reach of children or pets, since ingestion is toxic.
4. Tea tree oil
Obviously, this is a more expensive solution than the others, but it is also very useful thanks to the antifungal properties of this natural product. Place a spoon in a glass of water and distribute it over the surface to be treated with the help of a cloth so that it penetrates correctly into the joints. Leave it on for a while and then rinse.
5. Hydrogen peroxide
The power of hydrogen peroxide is not limited to just killing bacteria. In fact, it is capable of killing mold without generating toxic gases in the process. You just have to spray it on the surface and let it act for at least a quarter of an hour . Afterwards, with a small brush or old toothbrush, scrub and then rinse.
There are other effective and economical options that you will also have at home, such as bleach or ammonia. But these have the disadvantage that they also attack the material of the bidet or bathroom. Therefore, if you opt for these two chemical components, do so in small quantities and never mix them , otherwise you will create very toxic vapors.
