1 can (20 ounces) crushed pineapple, drained
1 cup mini marshmallows
1 cup shredded coconut
1 cup chopped nuts (preferably walnuts or pecans)
1 tub (8 ounces) whipped topping, thawed
1 box (3.4 ounces) instant coconut cream pudding mix
Directions
1. In a large mixing bowl, combine the drained crushed pineapple, mini marshmallows, shredded coconut, and chopped nuts.
2. Sprinkle the instant coconut cream pudding mix over the pineapple mixture and mix well to combine all ingredients.
3. Gently fold in the thawed whipped topping until everything is well incorporated.
4. Refrigerate the mixture for at least an hour to allow the flavors to meld together nicely.
5. Before serving, give the fluff one final stir and then scoop into serving dishes or a large serving bowl.
Variations & Tips
This Hawaiian Pineapple Coconut Fluff is delightful as is, but don’t hesitate to make it your own! Try adding different types of nuts for a change in texture, or mix in some maraschino cherries for a pop of color and sweetness. For a richer flavor, replace half of the whipped topping with Greek yogurt. If you’re feeling extra tropical, mix in some diced mango or papaya for an additional layer of fruity goodness.
