3. To flavor loose leaf tea

Another little tip I stole from my grandmother.

I cut a piece of orange peel into small cubes.

Then I put them in my tightly sealed pot of loose black tea.

After a few days, the tea takes on a super pleasant orange flavor.

Do you want another little gourmet tip?

Also add a little bergamot zest… it’s amazing!

And for those who don’t have time to wait, dip some organic orange peels into your hot cup of tea.

The result is the same: a light natural orange flavor.

4. To deodorize the house

Fresh or dried, orange peels always smell good.

It is therefore a natural and economical way to perfume the house.

Cut the peels into strips and place them on a plate.

Then, place the cup in the room you want to deodorize.

The fragrance lasts approximately 1 week.

And then, you can improve the aroma by adding a cinnamon stick, cloves or mint, for example.

Do you know what I love?

It is to put the zest in a saucepan with very hot water.

I let it simmer so the smell spreads throughout the kitchen.

Something like a medley.
