There are several and some are just at home, in the refrigerator. For example, eggshells or milk. But let’s look at a fertilizer created with a fruit, let’s talk about bananas. Concretely    , this fertilizer is made from the bark which contains very nutritious substances for plants.

Banana peel

Banana peel contains many vitamins, for example vitamin B6 and vitamin C. It also contains several minerals, such as potassium, which promotes growth, and magnesium. They are excellent nutrients for plants and orchids. So don’t throw away banana peels, reuse them.

The ingredients you need

To make orchids bloom, around 3 bananas    (preferably organic)    and around 1 L of water  will be enough. Start by cutting the banana peels into pieces then place them in the blender. Mix for a few minutes until you obtain a puree then add the water. Mix the two well and now take a clean and empty bottle.

Bananas

Pour everything into the bottle and do not close it.   Now let the mixture ferment for at least 2 days and then you can use it    . Once ready, first filter the water and then you can use this natural fertilizer that you have obtained to water your orchid.

Remember to place the fertilizer in moist soil, not dry soil, otherwise you could burn your plant.   It is recommended to perform this banana peel treatment approximately every two weeks in summer and only once a month in winter    . Try it too and see how your orchid blooms faster.
