Procedure
- We look for a bucket or some medium-large container, add all the products and mix well.
- We put a little of this liquid in a spray bottle (or spray) and proceed to spray all the rubber, especially in the darker areas, and let it take effect for about 30 minutes.
- After time, with a cloth or sponge, we clean the rubber as best as possible. It is important not to use too much force, since you can deform it.
- Then we do a long wash cycle and gradually pour all the leftover liquid mixture into the box where the soap goes.
- Once the cycle is over, with a clean, dry cloth, dry the rubber well and leave the door open to air out.
And that’s it, with this simple trick you clean the rubber, the box and the drum, leaving your washing machine like new. There is also another cleaning product that does not fail.
How to clean the washing machine rubber with baking soda
Although this material does not eliminate fungi like vinegar, it serves to remove all the dirt that remains stuck in a very effective way.
Simply put the washing machine on a complete wash cycle (obviously without clothes and without soap) and pour a mixture of 1/2 liter of water with half a cup of baking soda into the box.
Once finished, we proceed to run a short washing cycle, since we only need all the dirt to be cleaned along with the baking soda.
When the cycle ends, we open the door wide and with a dry cloth, we dry all the rubber and the door as well. Remember that at the top, although it may not seem like it, it may be somewhat wet.
And that’s it, with those 2 little tricks, your washing machine will look like new. Always remember that, once you finish washing, open the door so that it can air out and dry the rubber well.
If none of these tricks worked for you, we recommend that you go to a technician, since the problem may be much bigger.
