Bar soap is the remedy for you if you are a lover of old furniture but not only, because even new ones can smell closed or moldy if they are not disinfected properly or if they are placed in certain parts of the house . Luckily, all you need is a bar of soap to solve the problem.

You can prepare it by purchasing Marseille soap or an ecological or neutral soap. Then melt it in a water bath and add 5 drops of essential oil to taste, to intensify the scent of the soap even more. Pour the mixture into silicone molds and wait for it to cool in the open air. Once cooled, place the molds in the refrigerator for a few minutes, then place them in the cabinet you wish to flavor. The result will be exceptional!

Alternatively, you can cut the Marseille soap into flakes using a grater, then fill small sachets the size of a tablespoon. After that, close them and store them in the closet, preferably near your clothes. This way you will always have them smelling good.

But not just in bags. Place the soap flakes in a bowl and place it in a corner of the cabinet. It will be enough to make the furniture smell intoxicating in the blink of an eye.
