Toilet tablets: it’s very easy to make them with DIY

To prepare sanitizing and deodorizing tablets for toilets, you must have:

  • lemon juice (60 ml);
  • baking soda (160 g);
  • hydrogen peroxide (15 ml);
  • white wine vinegar (15 ml);
  • Essential oil of our choice (30 g).

Regarding the latter, choose a fresh scent like lemon, mint, lavender or tea tree oil which has antibacterial powers.

In a container large enough to accommodate all the ingredients, sift the baking soda to remove any lumps. Then pour in the vinegar and lemon juice. You will notice that the combination of the three will give rise to a natural effervescence, let it foam, then mix carefully. At this point, add the hydrogen peroxide and essential oil of your choice. Mix this mixture thoroughly, then divide it into ice cream molds and leave it to set in the freezer overnight.

The next day, take the first tablet and immerse it in the toilet. Wait before rinsing, it should dissolve completely, releasing all its cleaning and deodorizing properties.

Enjoy the result and repeat every day for a germ-proof toilet!
