WHAT PLANTS TO PUT AT HOME TO PURIFY THE AIR

Philodendron

Long, hanging fronds,  leaves slightly more elongated  than those of the pothos, but somewhat more  elegant  and  symmetrical : the  philodendron  is a classic indoor plant that must be cared for so that it grows  in a  downward cascade or as a  rambling .

But is it true that it is one of the most powerful air purifying plants that exist? Of course. It can, in fact, remove a large amount of  formaldehyde  in just a few hours, as well as reduce humidity,  limiting the growth of mold .

Furthermore, it is a plant that, thanks to its light color and behavior , is capable of giving a certain amount of light to rooms, making it ideal if you want to furnish a space  that is not particularly bright .

Fern

A plant that everyone really knows, thanks to the beauty of its thick foliage . Felce is a beautiful plant that must always be kept in a fairly humid environment (an essential requirement for its survival) .

The fern is a little more demanding than the other plants on this list, but it is still a fairly  easy plant to grow .

Among the toxic substances that it can absorb, reducing the percentage of its presence in the air, are  xylene ,  toluene ,  benzene  and  formaldehyde . In short, this plant is a real wonder and you can use it,  often in conjunction with other methods , to reduce stale air.

One piece of advice we would give you is to keep an eye on the health of your fringes , remembering to  spray a little water  on them if you have placed the plant in a place where the humidity is rather low.
