Instructions:

1. Prepare the Dryer: Before you start cleaning the dryer vent, unplug the dryer from the electrical outlet and turn off the gas if your dryer is gas-powered.

2. Access the Vent Opening: Locate the dryer vent opening on the outside of your home. You may need a ladder to reach it, depending on its height and location. Remove any debris, leaves, or obstructions around the vent opening.

3. Disconnect the Dryer: Move your dryer away from the wall to access the back. If your dryer is connected with a flexible vent tubing, detach it from the dryer and the wall using a screwdriver.

4. Attach the Cleaning Kit: Assemble the dryer vent cleaning kit according to the manufacturer’s instructions. The kit typically includes a brush or a flexible rod and a lint trap brush. Attach the brush or rod to the vacuum cleaner nozzle.

5. Clean the Dryer Vent Tube: Insert the brush or rod end of the kit into the dryer vent tube inside your home. Slowly push the brush or rod through the vent tubing while turning it to remove lint and debris buildup. The vacuum cleaner will help suck up the loosened lint.
