The charger is designed to act as a transformer, with a charge and voltage useful for charging the cell phone. Manufacturers are trying to standardize these models and devices, so as to have a “universal” tool available in case of need.

Charger Repair, Tips and Solutions
These tools are not complex, in fact with a minimum of manual skill you can get to the resolution of the problem. Obviously, for those who are not sure it is better to opt for the purchase of the new one or the repair by a professional technician.

The bundle of cables available is inside the sheath and there are four main ones. Two are for transferring data, two more for passing the voltage and charging the cell phone battery. How to do it? Strip the cable and make it bare so you can find the damage with just a glance.

Then reconnect the ends of the wires exactly where the damage is visible. The two pieces of wire should be joined and fixed with the help of a wire soldering iron (so that they can be stopped permanently).

Wait a few minutes and then isolate the cable with the help of classic insulating tape or heat-shrink tubing. The cable that was damaged first must always be isolated from the other cables, otherwise the passage of current could cause a short circuit.

Older generation battery chargers are a little more difficult to handle, so it’s important to assess the damage and risk before proceeding.
