To eliminate bad odor and limescale from the washing machine , it may be useful to periodically run a vacuum wash with citric acid. .
This ingredient, although it is not well known and used, is presented as a more ecological alternative to vinegar while having the same effectiveness.
Citric acid , in fact, has a strong anti-limescale, descaling and descaling action and is therefore capable of thoroughly cleaning the washing machine.
To clean the washing machine with citric acid , simply dissolve 200 grams of this white powder in a bottle containing a liter of water, preferably warm and demineralized , to prevent further limescale buildup.
