I don’t buy expensive sanitary blocks: for 1 EURO, I have them for months – they smell very nice and get rid of bacteria and limescale

Start by mixing one part baking soda with one part white vinegar in a bowl. The reaction between the two products will create an effervescent foam.
Add 10-20 drops of essential oils to the mixture. Essential oils will not only give your sanitary blocks a pleasant scent, but they will also have antibacterial and anti-limescale properties.
Stir the mixture well until you get a paste-like consistency. If the mixture is too dry, add a little more vinegar. If it’s too runny, add a little more baking soda.
Once you have the desired consistency, pour the mixture into the ice cube molds. Make sure you pack the mixture well into the molds.
Let the sanitary blocks dry for at least 24 hours or until they are completely solid.
Once dry, remove the sanitary blocks from the molds and store them in an airtight container until used.
How to use them:

To use your homemade sanitary blocks, simply place one in your toilet tank. Each time you drain the water, the sanitary blockages will slowly dissolve, releasing their fresh, clean scent into the bathroom and helping to fight bacteria and limescale.

With this economical and natural method, you will always have a clean smelling bathroom, without having to spend a fortune on expensive sanitary blocks full of harmful chemicals. Try this DIY recipe and transform your bathroom into a welcoming and hygienic space for you and your family!
