Use a piece of 240-grit sandpaper to gently rub the paste all over the surface of the pot. Then, add a little water every now and then to keep the surface moist while you scrub.

Once you are done scrubbing, rinse the pot under running water to remove any residue of paste and burnt material. The inside of the pot should now be shiny and clean, free of burns.

If the burn is also present on the outside
If the outside of the pot is also burned, repeat the same steps described above to apply the potato polish paste to the outside surface. Then, rinse the pot under running water and, if necessary, use a little detergent and a sponge to remove any residue.
