Easy Peach Pie Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 1 batch of your favorite pie crust (store-bought or homemade)
  • 4-5 ripe peaches, peeled and sliced
  • 1/2 cup of honey
  • 1 tablespoon of cornstarch
  • 1 teaspoon of cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon of nutmeg
  • 1 tablespoon of lemon juice

Instructions:

  1. Prepare the Filling: In a large bowl, combine the peach slices with honey, cornstarch, cinnamon, nutmeg, and lemon juice. Toss everything together until the peaches are well coated.
  2. Assemble the Pie: Roll out half of the pie crust and fit it into a 9-inch pie dish. Pour the peach filling into the crust, spreading it out evenly. Roll out the second half of the crust and place it over the filling. Trim any excess dough and crimp the edges to seal the pie.
  3. Bake: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Cut a few small slits in the top crust to allow steam to escape. Bake the pie for 45-50 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown and the filling is bubbling.
