How to Use Baking Soda in Your Toilet
Ingredients
1 cup of baking soda
1 cup of vinegar (optional)
Boiling water (optional)
Instructions
Pour Baking Soda:
Pour 1 cup of baking soda directly into the toilet bowl. Ensure it covers as much of the surface as possible.
Let It Sit:
Allow the baking soda to sit in the bowl for at least 15 minutes. For tougher stains or odors, you can leave it overnight.
Scrub and Flush:
Use a toilet brush to scrub the bowl, focusing on any stained or discolored areas. Then, flush the toilet to rinse away the baking soda and grime.
For Clogs:
If you’re dealing with a clog, pour 1 cup of baking soda followed by 1 cup of vinegar into the toilet bowl. The mixture will fizz and bubble, helping to break down the clog. After 10-15 minutes, pour boiling water into the bowl and flush.
