Rosemary and its properties
Aromatic plant par excellence, if it is present among the bushes it is possible to smell it from a distance. Used in our culture especially in cooking, in addition to having a unique scent, rosemary is known for its antiseptic properties. Being edible, it can be used both as a spice and in preparations to aid digestion, calm asthma or cough attacks, and is also an excellent antirheumatic. On the market it is found in various forms in addition to the classic sprigs used in cooking. In the form of essential oil, for example, to add to infusions, roasts or even bath water for a pleasant relaxing bath. It is also excellent for hair, as it strengthens and adds shine, and in addition to activating blood circulation in the scalp, it stimulates growth.
But without a doubt, rosemary is used above all for its aroma, which makes it one of the most cultivated aromatic plants on balconies and in home gardens.
Its cultivation is very simple, being a perennial and rather invasive plant. If you buy a rosemary plant, it is likely that, with the right conditions, you will soon find yourself with a beautiful bush. The rosemary plant loves the sun, the heat and does not need too much water. Therefore, it does not require too much attention.

Rosemary as a natural freshener in wardrobes
In addition to spreading its unmistakable fresh aroma, rosemary in wardrobes and drawers has a very important defensive role. It is in fact an excellent natural ally against annoying moths.
Perfume clothes with rosemary
To use it as a freshener in wardrobes, you can prepare small rosemary bags to hang with a string or to place among dirty clothes. All you need to do is take some cotton bags with a not too thick weave (small gauze bags like those used for wedding gifts are also fine) and put some whole or chopped rosemary sprigs inside. If you want, you can add other aromatic herbs to your liking, such as lavender, but with rosemary alone the effect on your clothes will be more than guaranteed. A good idea could be to also use it to perfume the clothes in the house such as sheets and towels.
The duration of the fragrance varies greatly depending on the clothes and spaces, you will know it is time to change them when you feel the smell fade.
The bags, in addition to in the wardrobes and drawers, can also be used in various corners of the house to always keep it scented.
