Many people have wondered whether it is better to leave the washing machine door open or closed after use. Here I explain which is the best option for the care of your washing machine.

• Leave the door open after washing:
  1 – It is advisable to leave the washing machine door open after each wash cycle, for at least 24 hours. This allows the inside of the machine to dry properly, avoiding the formation of bad odors, mold and humidity.
  2 – If possible, leave the door open for several days to ensure that condensation does not accumulate and that air circulates inside the drum.
