Ingredients Needed:
1/2 cup of whole cloves
1 cup of carrier oil (olive oil, coconut oil, or almond oil are good choices)
Equipment Needed
Glass jar with a tight-fitting lid
Saucepan or slow cooker
Strainer or cheesecloth

Heat the combination: Warm the oil and clove combination to promote infusion. There are two approaches to this.
Method for the Slow Cooker: Put the jar into a slow cooker and add water to cover the jar by about half of its height. For around three to four hours, place the cooker on low heat and allow the mixture reheat.
Stovetop Method: The jar can also be warmed on the stovetop in a water bath. After placing the jar in a pot and adding enough water to cover the jar by half, simmer the mixture gently for two to three hours. Take care not to bring the water to a rolling boil as that might shatter the glass.
Allow the oil to cool entirely after heating it before straining it. After that, drain the mixture to get rid of the cloves and any other debris using cheesecloth or a fine sieve. To get the most oil out of the cheesecloth, squeeze it.
Storage: Pour the squeezed oil into a jar or glass bottle that has been cleaned. Put the contents and the date on the jar’s label. Keep the clove oil somewhere cold and dark. It ought tojar.
