Ingredients
For the Crust:
- 3/4 cup flour
- 1/4 cup milk powder
- 2 teaspoons sugar
- 1 packet rapid-rise yeast
- 3/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/3 cup hot water (110–115°F)
- 1/2 teaspoon vegetable oil
For the Filling:
- 1/2 pound Italian salami
- 1/2 pound ground chuck
- 1/2 teaspoon chili powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 8 oz sharp mozzarella cheese (brick)
For the Sauce (prepared in advance):
- 1 can tomato paste (6 oz)
- 1/2 cup water
- 1/3 cup olive oil
- 2 minced garlic cloves
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1/2 teaspoon dried basil
- 1/2 teaspoon dried rosemary
