Here’s What Happens To Bodies During Cremation, According To This Funeral Home Director

Sometimes bold questions
An answer that has the merit of shedding light on the fate of the bodies. If this question remains relatively appropriate, others, more audacious, are creating a buzz on the Chinese social network. Faced with this type of question, the former funeral director remains impassive and always answers seriously.

The Tampon Dilemma
The latest, and most unusual, comes from a subscriber who asked Lauren the following question: “I HAVE A SERIOUS QUESTION, if a woman dies while wearing a tampon, do you take it out or leave it in?”
Funeral protocols
To which Lauren responded: “Most women who die, if they are young enough and still menstruating, they usually have an autopsy… If that’s the case, we remove the tampon.” Before clarifying: “Let me be clear, I would only remove it in the case of embalming, because I would have prior permission from the family to care for the body.”
