What about shoe discoloration stains on nails?

If your nails are dirty with the dye from your shoes, you can clean them with a soft brush. This will allow you to scrape the stained area well. For greater effectiveness, first soak it in a mixture of fine salt, baking soda and toothpaste. Otherwise, you can also rub your nails with olive oil mixed with lemon juice or fine salt. Adapt according to what you have in the cupboards at home !

How to prevent shoes from fading in the future?

The best way to treat stains is to avoid them, but how do you prevent your shoes from bleeding? To do this, consider applying a waterproofing product to the inside and outside of your leather shoes. Is your waterproofing spray empty? Instead of rushing to the nearest store, wipe your shoes with a cloth soaked in rubbing alcohol or petroleum jelly or spray them with hairspray to set the color. Then let it dry for 24 hours for a very effective result. You can also use talcum powder or boric acid to limit sweat and humidity in the shoes. This will prevent unsightly stains from appearing. If you don’t have any of these at home, there’s nothing stopping you from simply cleaning the inside of the shoe to remove excess dye. Repeat until the cloth comes out clean from each shoe.
