For indoor plants, peroxide is used as a means of combating diseases and pests.
Water the flowers with hydrogen peroxide
Plants appreciate and need natural irrigation such as rainwater. You can do this using the peroxide solution itself, which contains a whole series of trace elements necessary for the proper development and growth of your orchids.
To do this, dilute the product with water so as not to damage the sensitive leaves of the orchid. Mix 2 tablespoons with 1 liter of water . Spray this solution on the plant throughout the year, at most once a week. Hydrogen peroxide stimulates the growth of orchids. Prefer to water your plants in a well-ventilated place.
If your orchid has wilted, here’s how to bring it back to life!
If your orchid is wilted, remove the yellowed leaves using sterilized scissors and remove any dry parts of the plant. Remove the plant from the pot and place it in a glass filled up to the neck with water .
Try not to wet the crown, otherwise you run the risk of rotting the entire plant. As a general rule, 3 or 4 cm of water will be enough. Now take the plant out of the water. Add 1 cm of hydrogen peroxide to the water, stir and put the plant back in. The water should never exceed the neck. Now we just have to wait. Typically, it will take at least a month and a half before seeing the first results.
This remedy will have worked when you see that the parts of the roots that were yellowish turn green and new shoots have also sprouted. At this point, you can transfer your orchid to a sterilized pot .
Fill about 2/3 of the pot with pieces of bark, place the plant in it and fill below the neck with bark. Next, spray the bark until the water runs out and place it in another pot or on a stand.
