Heat the Oil π’οΈπ₯
Heat vegetable oil in a deep fryer or heavy-bottomed pot to 325Β°F (165Β°C).
First Frying π
Fry the potato sticks in batches for about 3-5 minutes, until soft but not browned. Remove and let them cool.
Second Frying ππ₯
Increase the oil temperature to 375Β°F (190Β°C). Fry the potatoes again until golden and crispy, about 2-3 minutes.
Drain and Season π§
Remove the fries from the oil, drain on paper towels, and sprinkle with salt while theyβre hot.
