How to Clean the Inside of Headlights?

Cleaning the inside of the headlights is more complex and requires disassembling the headlights. Here's how to do it:

Tools needed:

• Hot water basin
• Mild detergent
• Abrasive sponge
• Headlight polish
• hair dryer
• Vehicle Owner's Manual (for specific instructions)

• Instructions :

  1. Open the hood and locate the headlight mounting screws.
  2. Unscrew the screws and ask for help to hold the headlights while you disconnect the electrical cables.
  3. Remove the headlight lenses according to the vehicle manual instructions.
  4. Fill a basin with warm water and add mild detergent.
  5. Use an abrasive sponge to clean the inside of the lenses.
  6. Dry the lenses thoroughly and apply headlight polish.
  7. Replace the lenses and reconnect the electrical cables.

  Caution  : Do not touch the mirrored surface around the bulb, it is very delicate.
