Citric acid and lemon.
Lemon is a valuable ally because it contains citric acid. In addition, lemon is perfect for adding a delicate scent to the washing machine. At the same time, it is important to disinfect them properly. This citrus fruit can be used by filtering its juice into a glass. Then, all you have to do is put it in the washing machine and start an empty wash cycle.

If we prefer to use a sachet of citric acid, we can add 150 grams to a liter of water in the basket. Then, all we have to do is run an empty wash cycle at the temperature indicated on the package.

Salt
In addition to citric acid and lemon, salt is a secret ingredient. If we have a medium-sized washing machine, we can put two glasses of coarse salt in it. Then we simply dissolve the salt during a high-temperature vacuum wash cycle. This way, the washing machine will be clean and disinfected.

Now we just have to understand how to use baking soda. In this case, it is not necessary to act during an empty wash cycle. In fact, we can start a high temperature wash cycle after adding a spoonful of baking soda to the drum.
