Possible causes of rats in the toilet

Many people still do not dispose of their garbage properly and throw food leftovers into the toilet.

Danger in case of flooding

Rats can swim, dive and climb very well, but this does not help in this case, because they are simply carried away by the masses of water. To escape this fate, rats climb the pipes of the sewer system to your connection to the house and finally into your toilet.
Otherwise, the sewer system is a paradise for rats. Once they have found access, for example through a leak, they always find enough food scraps there and are protected from predators. In addition, it is relatively warm in winter and pleasantly cool in summer.
