Savory Olive and Ham Cake: A Simple and Tasty Recipe

Instructions

  1. Preheating:
    • Preheat your oven to  180°C  (gas mark 6).
  2. Mixing the ingredients:
    • In a bowl, beat the eggs with the milk and olive oil.
    • Add the flour and baking powder, then mix until you get a smooth dough.
    • Stir in the ham, olives, cheese, and season with salt, pepper, and herbes de Provence if desired.
      • Mold preparation:
        • Pour the mixture into a cake tin that has been previously buttered or lined with baking paper.
      • Cooking :
        • Bake for about  45 minutes , or until the top is golden brown and a knife inserted in the center comes out clean.
      • Cooling:
        • Let cool for a few minutes in the mold, then turn out and let cool completely on a wire rack.
      • Service :
        • Serve warm or at room temperature, cut into slices.

      Trick

      You can vary the ingredients by adding sundried tomatoes, nuts or other types of cheese to personalize your cake.
