Onion peels as a fungicide In infusion, onion peels have fungicidal properties and help fight powdery mildew and mold that damage and kill your precious plants. To make it, you need to collect two large bunches of onion peels and throw them into a pot full of cold water (estimated about 2 liters). Bring everything to the boil and then boil for 10 minutes.
