1. Check the flush valve impulse
Find the flush valve, which is fully flushed on one side and half flushed on the other. Use your finger to quickly poke one of them (all the way), observe the momentum of the toilet, and then check where the water level of the water tank drops (the water level should be about three centimeters from the bottom during a full flush, and about half of the flush);
After the tank is full of water, use your finger to quickly poke another one (all the way), observe the flush level of the toilet, and then check whether the water level of the tank is fully flushed or half flushed;
Try a few more times to determine whether there is a significant difference between the impulse and pressing the button on the toilet lid. You can close the toilet lid and check and compare again; if there is no difference, the impulse is not ideal, it is the problem of the flush valve, and it should be considered to replace it;
If there is a difference, it means that the toilet button has a problem, you need to adjust the two screw bars of the toilet lid button, the adjustment method is as follows:
Turn the two screw bars of the button a few times, put the lid back on the water tank, touch the button to feel the gap and adjust the gap to no more than two or three mm.
2. Check the size of the flush rod
If the flush rod is cut too short, the flush valve will not be fully opened when the flush is pressed, which will lead to a small amount of water going down and make the toilet flush weak. To fix this, you need to carefully measure the flush rod before cutting.
