Yet behind these mundane signs lurked a far more formidable enemy. Her story is a powerful reminder: sometimes, listening to your body can make all the difference.

Just tiredness… or a warning sign?

Like many active people, Georgie led a busy life. At 28, she was taking on one project after another and attributing her fatigue to overwork. Who hasn’t felt that lingering exhaustion at the end of the day? But when she started losing weight for no apparent reason and suffering from night sweats, doubts could have set in. Yet she continued to ignore these signs,  convinced there was nothing to worry about .

Unbearable itching but… harmless?

The symptom that affected her most was  the intense itching  on her legs.  So much so that she scratched them until they bled.  However, doctors initially suggested stress, allergies, or even hives. Creams, dietary changes… Nothing worked. And still no definitive diagnosis.
