If stains on vinyl or leather do not come out with toothpaste, dab them with rubbing alcohol. Again, test on a small area to see if you can. Remember, the more alcohol you apply, the more likely it is that the paint on the seats will come off.
If the seats do not have particularly difficult stains to remove, mix two parts of vinegar and linseed oil, and use the result to clean them. This is an excellent remedy for removing dirt.
To clean glass, mix 250 ml of water with 125 ml of vinegar and 60 ml of alcohol. Pour into a spray bottle and use reusable cloth wipes to remove dirt from the glass.
Baking soda is another excellent remedy for cleaning the interior of the car, neutralizing odors. Pour a little baking soda on the seats, let it act for a few hours, then remove using a vacuum cleaner.
If the car interior is made of canvas, you have more than one option. The first is to mix equal parts vinegar and water, spray the stain, and remove with a damp cloth. You can also use a solution of baking soda and water.
To remove grease stains on mats, pour a little cornstarch, let it sit for 30 minutes, then vacuum away.
