The most effective method is to prepare a chamomile fabric softener . This excellent plant not only has a calming effect, but can also relax the fibers of the towels and make them look like new again .
Bring a litre of water to the boil, then remove from the heat and infuse 4 or 5 chamomile tea bags until completely cooled.
Pour the chamomile tea into a bucket or basin filled with water, and immerse the clean towels in it to soften for at least 15 minutes.
Then wring them out and dry them in the shade, avoiding direct sunlight. Once dry, the towels will be very soft, as if they were new .
