If your appliance is slightly yellowish, use white vinegar

If the yellowing of your device is not so obvious, you can use a white vinegar solution. Here are the steps to follow:

  • Soak white vinegar on the soft side of a sponge;
  • Rub the entire yellowed surface;
  • Let the vinegar take effect for 15 minutes;
  • Switch to a warm water rinse.

How do you maintain each of the kitchen appliances?

Now we are going to review the best tricks to exploit for each of your household appliances. To maintain them properly and   make them last longer  , it is necessary to take into account their specificities. Thus, it will be up to you to make the difference between the small appliance that includes the iron, the vacuum cleaner or the toaster and the large appliance that includes, for example, the refrigerator or the washing machine.

All of these solutions will prevent your tools from breaking down and becoming obsolete before their time, provided you do them regularly enough. Let’s look at all of this in more detail and case by case:

Microwave

To prolong the life of your microwave and prevent yellow stains from forming, keep it in good condition after each cooking session. To do this, all you have to do is clean the sides of the door with a sponge to remove any residue that has accumulated there. If you feel that your machine needs a deep cleaning, do not hesitate to use a used toothbrush   with white vinegar.   This way you can treat all areas of the microwave.

Another method is to place a bowl containing a solution of lemon juice and white vinegar  in the microwave and turn it on. This way, the steam will treat the walls thoroughly. Then you will only have to use a damp sponge to remove the dirt from the surfaces.

Oven

After each use of the oven, it becomes more greasy and dirty, which can spoil food. To clean it in an eco-friendly way, all you need   is baking soda and water  . You will obtain a paste that you will spread on the walls of the oven before letting it take effect for a few hours.

After this waiting time, moisten a sponge to scrub the walls. Then you can attack the racks with soapy water and the oven door with white vinegar.

the coffee machine

If you are a coffee fanatic, it is important for you to know that if limescale builds up in your machine,   its operation will be affected and the taste of your coffee could be altered.   Hence the need for regular cleaning of your coffee machine.

To treat your appliance, start by preparing a mixture   of one-third white vinegar to two-thirds water, then  pour the solution into the machine. Then plug it in as if you were making coffee.

You can repeat this operation until you see that the water has become clearly clear. At the same time, it will be useful   to soak the tank in white vinegar to remove impurities.   Do this once a month and do not forget to rinse.
