Mowing when it rains: can wet grass be mowed?

[rotated_ad]

Do You Need to Remove (Wet) Grass Clippings?

Short clippings can usually be left on the lawn, as they break down and turn into valuable food for the grass. However, in large quantities, during wet weather, or if they’re unevenly distributed, it’s best to remove some of the clippings to avoid suffocating the grass. Prolonged rain can also turn the grass yellow if the clippings aren’t removed.
