To revitalize an orchid and promote vigorous growth with strong, healthy roots, adopting an Asian technique is recommended. Start by removing the soil from the orchid’s roots and trimming all the roots with scissors. Remove excess leaves, leaving only the central stem intact.
After thoroughly cleaning and drying the orchid, crush garlic in a mortar. Place the crushed garlic at the bottom of a glass container, add water, and strain it into another container. Submerge the orchid in the jar, filling about one-third with garlic juice.
After soaking for approximately twenty minutes, let the orchid dry in an empty glass. Meanwhile, cut the top of a small plastic bottle to create a plastic cup. Place the upper part at the bottom of the glass.
Insert the orchid’s root into the bottle neck, adding some water to avoid wetting the roots. The water at the base will evaporate, maintaining the right humidity. Spray the orchid inside the bottle with water every two days, and within a month, it will develop new roots and healthy, robust leaves.

Water orchid plants by immersing their pots in a basin of water. Use rainwater or distilled water for spraying and watering, as orchids are sensitive to chlorine.
Place orchids in humid areas like bathrooms, kitchens, or greenhouses for optimal thriving conditions. To prolong an orchid’s lifespan, avoid direct sunlight, prevent water stagnation, and trim the roots carefully.
To induce orchid blooming, provide the right frequency of fertilizer and water, regularly inspect and clean the leaves, and keep them in a well-ventilated area at a temperature not exceeding twenty degrees Celsius
