Attach a rubber band to the tool you will need, then wrap the other side around your wrist. This way, you won’t risk dropping the tool.

A rubber band is also useful to save yourself from liquid soap. Wrap a rubber band around the neck of the bottle to better control the amount of soap expelled.
More ingenious uses for rubber bands
There are so many other benefits to using a rubber band and attaching it to the doorknob. Here are a few:
– Immobilize a cutting board – Occasionally, the work surface moves while cutting food. To prevent this, wrap a rubber band around it to hold it in place.
– Prevent clothes from falling off hangers – Attach a rubber band to the right end and another to the left end of a hanger. This will keep your items in place and won’t risk falling and getting dirty.
– Unscrew a tight cap – No matter what cap it is, a rubber band can help you open it more easily. To do this, simply hang a few around the lid before removing it manually.
–Holds a floral arrangement – To allow the flowers to hold well and to improve the floral presentation, wrap a transparent rubber band around the stems and place them in water. Your floral arrangement will now appear less “chaotic”.
–Useful as a bookmark – If you don’t have a bookmark, you can always turn to a rubber band because it fulfills this role very well. This makes it easier to find the page you stopped on but above all to avoid folding the end of a page on itself. A trend that only harms books.
–Clean a brush – We don’t always know what to do with the excess paint left on the brushes, but with a rubber band, you can solve the problem. Surrounding the paint pot with a rubber band from the base, you can pass the brush through it to drain the excess inside the container. This reduces paint spills and helps keep the edges of the can cleaner.
