Now that we know the necessary ingredients and their properties, let’s see how to put them into practice.

Baking soda and white vinegar: use them like this, you’ll never go back
We have discovered that with just a few euros we can descale and remove stains from our toilet. Our allies will be white wine vinegar and baking soda, versatile products that are useful on multiple fronts. Thanks to their help we will get our toilet shiny and white, and we will do it with great ease. What we have to do is pour approximately half a litre of vinegar (500 ml) into the toilet. With the help of a clean toilet brush we must vigorously scrape the bottom and all the walls of the toilet that are more yellowed and encrusted. Then we must let the vinegar act for at least a full minute. After 60 seconds we can proceed to add the baking soda.
You will need about 150 grams of baking soda , and you will need to pour it into the cup. After this step, take your vinegar again and pour in another 500 ml. The reaction will be foamy and effervescent: all the incrustations will slide away as if by magic. All the impurities will disappear.

You should let it sit for at least 10 minutes , then use the brush again to distribute the foam all over and scrub well. It would be a good idea to let the vinegar and baking soda solution sit for a maximum of another 30 minutes, brushing a little again, until the scale seems to have disappeared.
This is a useful procedure in case of strong encrustations that have been present for some time, but if maintenance is regular, the effort will be even less. Even using only white vinegar , but only when the situation is not too “serious”.
