Step-by-Step Guide
1. Remove the Shower Curtain
Take down your shower curtain from its hooks. This part requires a bit of physical effort but is a necessary first step.
2. Pre-Treat (Optional)
If you have visible spots of mildew or heavy grime, you can pre-treat these areas with a bit of baking soda. Simply sprinkle a small amount directly onto the spots and lightly rub before the main washing.
3. Prepare the Washing Machine
Place your shower curtain in the washing machine along with a couple of towels. The towels will help to scrub the curtain as the machine agitates. Add your regular amount of laundry detergent.
