The most resistant purifying plant for indoors

In the 1980s, NASA conducted a study to demonstrate the ability of plants to purify air in the most extreme conditions. The spider plant was among the top 10 plants best suited for this purpose.

The spiderwort is excellent at eliminating harmful substances present in the air, such as xylene, contained in the wood of furniture, and carbon monoxide, released by boilers, some types of stoves and radiators.

The spider plant needs indirect light, and should be watered once a week during the winter and two or three times a week during the summer.
