Baked Fish in Pita Bread Recipe
Ingredients:
500g pollock fillet (or any white fish), rinsed and dried
Salt and selected spices (such as black pepper, paprika, etc.)
1 egg
3 tbsp mayonnaise
1 tbsp Dijon mustard
100g cheese, grated (choose a melty cheese like mozzarella or cheddar)
Fresh parsley, chopped
1 onion, thinly sliced into rings
2 tomatoes, thinly sliced into rings
4 large pita breads
1 egg + 2 tbsp sour cream (for egg wash)
Instructions:
Prepare the Fish:
Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius (350 degrees Fahrenheit).
Cut the fish fillet into portions and season them with salt and selected spices, rubbing the seasoning into the fish.
Prepare the Sauce:
In a bowl, beat 1 egg and mix it with mayonnaise and Dijon mustard until well combined.
Add grated cheese and chopped parsley to the mayonnaise mixture. Mix everything together.
