In this article, I will share a Korean method for reducing facial wrinkles around the nose and an effective method for lifting the cheeks, which can be easily done in everyday life. Let’s write down 3 basic steps for rejuvenation and start practicing.

Step 1: Smoothing nasolabial folds

The facial fold around the nose is formed vertically, creating a visible line from the nose to the corners of the lips. This is due to shortening of the muscle that is responsible for raising the upper lip. Our first method will help relax this area.

Try to grasp the soft tissue around the fold as shown in the instructions. The goal is to stretch the muscle layer and fix it between the fingers. You can do this on each side at a time, or on both sides at once if possible. Keep the tissues pinched and take deep breaths for a minute. If you feel pain, wait until it gives way to a warm sensation.

Why is this method effective?

Under the nasolabial folds there are important blood vessels responsible for nourishing and detoxifying the facial skin. Therefore, targeting this area improves complexion, texture and youthfulness, and reduces swelling in the lower part of the face.
