The largest single nerve in the body, the sciatic nerve, runs from the lower back to the back of each leg.
And its composition comes from individual nerve roots that begin to branch from the spine in the lower back and combine to form the sciatic nerve.
Pain associated with this nerve usually originates on one side of the hip and travels down the leg, and occurs when the nerve roots become compressed or damaged due to narrowing of the spine or displaced disc.”
Exercise 1
On a flat surface, lie on your back and raise your sore leg; Suddenly, bend your limb until your knee is level with your shoulder. Hold the posture for 30 seconds, then stretch and relax. Repeat 2 times.
