Pecan Pie from an Island

My husband, who usually doubts trying new recipes, couldn’t resist coming to the kitchen because of the aroma. Let’s remember the person who was very happy and excited when they saw something. It was very popular! Our family loved the food very much because it reminded us of happy times on sunny island vacations.

Ingredients:

• 1 pie crust (you can make it at home or buy it at the store)
• 1 and 3/4 cups of sugar
• 1 cup of pecans, chopped into small pieces
• 1 cup of crushed pineapple, drained
• 1 cup of grated coconut
• 1/2 cup of melted unsalted butter (1 stick)
• 5 eggs, at room temperature
• 1 tablespoon of cornstarch
• 1 tablespoon of all-purpose flour
• 1/4 teaspoon of salt
