The piece of paper (a napkin is the best choice) should be placed exactly behind the refrigerator door. When you close the door, you will pull out the paper napkin: if we notice that it comes out very easily even when the door is closed, it means that the rubber on the refrigerator door is not doing its job well. This is a big problem, since the incorrect closing of the door forces the refrigerator to work harder to expel the air: in short, if the door does not close well, the refrigerator consumes more.
