Why Can Watermelon Juice?
Canning watermelon juice allows you to enjoy the fruit’s natural sweetness and hydrating benefits long after the season has ended. It’s a great way to reduce waste, save money, and have a ready-to-drink, delicious beverage on hand whenever you need a taste of summer.

Ingredients
1 large, ripe watermelon

1 tablespoon of lemon juice per quart jar (for preservation)

Instructions
1. Prepare the Watermelon:

Begin by washing the outside of the watermelon to remove any dirt or impurities. Cut the watermelon into manageable pieces, removing the rind and seeds. The flesh should be chopped into smaller chunks to make juicing easier.

2. Juice the Watermelon:

Use a blender, food processor, or juicer to extract the juice from the watermelon chunks. Blend until smooth. If you prefer a smoother juice, strain the mixture through a fine mesh sieve or cheesecloth to remove any pulp.

3. Sterilize the Jars:

Sterilize your canning jars by boiling them in water for 10 minutes. Make sure the jars are completely clean to ensure the juice is preserved properly. Sterilize the lids and rings as well.

4. Fill the Jars:
