Requiring  a precise amount of water  to grow properly, parsley can turn yellow if watered too much or too little. For this reason, parsley plants should be watered evenly, without overwatering or underwatering. At the same time, the plant tolerates well-drained soils, which prevents its roots from rotting and therefore turning yellow.

Another reason that can cause parsley leaves to turn yellow is  excessive sun exposure  . In fact, parsley should be placed in partial shade.

Among other causes,  infections stand out  , whether due to fungi, bacteria or parasites such as mites or aphids. If the plant does not have the essential nutrients for its growth, such as nitrogen or potassium, it could react with yellowing of the leaves. Yellow can also be due to the aging of the plant but also to a failed transplant. In this case, however, the leaves can recover.

Even  temperatures  that are too high or too low could stress the plant and cause it to turn yellow.  Also be careful with  excessive pruning or care errors .
