The stomach is our second brain. Abdominal pain that doesn't go away, especially if accompanied by fever, nausea, or swelling, could be a sign of appendicitis, inflammation of the pancreas, or a gallbladder problem.  In this case, it's best to seek medical help right away: every hour counts.

  1. Calf pain with swelling

A painful, red, hot, and swollen calf? It's not necessarily a simple bruise or a cramp. It could be a sign of deep vein thrombosis, a clot that forms in a vein. If this clot travels to the lungs, it can cause a pulmonary embolism. A simple  Doppler examination  can clear up any doubts.
