Introduction:
Looking for a recipe that asks nothing of you but delivers cozy satisfaction? This “No Fuss, No Bother” Chamomile Rice Pudding is the culinary equivalent of a reassuring hug. Inspired by a note that promises “this product does not bother you,” we crafted a dessert that’s easy on the stomach, gentle on the mind, and simple to follow. Ideal for late nights, quiet mornings, or when life feels a bit too loud—this dish whispers, not shouts.
Ingredients:
1 cup cooked white rice (jasmine or basmati recommended)
2 cups milk (dairy or plant-based)
2 chamomile tea bags (or 2 tsp dried chamomile flowers)
3 tbsp honey or maple syrup
1 tsp vanilla extract
Pinch of salt
Optional garnish: cinnamon, chopped nuts, dried fruit, or lemon zest
Directions:
Steep the chamomile: In a small saucepan, bring the milk to a gentle simmer. Remove from heat and add chamomile tea bags. Cover and let steep for 10 minutes. Remove tea bags (or strain if using loose flowers).
Make the pudding: Return the infused milk to the stove over low heat. Stir in the cooked rice, honey (or syrup), salt, and vanilla.
Simmer gently: Cook for 10–15 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the mixture thickens to your desired consistency. Don’t rush it—this recipe doesn’t believe in stress.
